Take a deep dive into remembering, reclaiming, and empowering parts of us that have been disowned or forgotten.

The untouched landscape, pure water, clear air and old chestnut trees make it the perfect place to stop and disconnect from the busyness of daily life and technology. It is a space for just being and allowing the elements to be our teachers. Marta and Sam, our hosts, are building an oasis of biodiversity, a labour of love that is transforming the landscape and the health of the land. These special conditions allow us to learn from the non-human world, explore our inner landscape and connect to what really matters.

We will create the space, time, and energy to reflect on our relationship with our self and to explore and better understand some of the life transitions that we face. Whatever your life stage this is an opportunity to take stock, self-reflect and do the inner work of connecting to your soul’s journey. As women we are often patterned to spend a lot of time looking after and helping other people. This is an opportunity to look into ourselves to see who we are, where we belong, what is sacred and who we are becoming. A place to empower ourselves to author our own stories.

We will use a process of personal enquiry to provide a framework for the programme, so that the exploration journey is always relevant for your experience and life stage. Your enquiry will also be enriched by the collective as we sit together and benefit from the wisdom of community.

Food

All meals will be entirely organic and vegetarian with vegan options. For any other dietary requirements (soy free, diary free, gluten free, etc.), please let us know as soon as possible, there are no shops in the area.

The cuisine is inspired by Sam and Marta’s travels and by their passion for wild cooking with natural untransformed produce. Every meal is an opportunity to go back to the biodiversity of flavours that nature offers; grains that we are not used to eating, flowers and aromatic plants mixed with traditional dishes of Southern Italy or the Middle East, reinvented for a special meal.

What to bring

We kindly ask you to bring organic biodegradable products for your body-care. The place is very pure and unpolluted and we try to minimise any disturbance to wildlife and flora!

Bed-sheets will be provided. We ask you to bring a sleeping bag or a blanket in case the weather is colder than usual. If you are travelling from abroad and this is an issue, let us know and we can supply this for you.

  • Towel

  • Torch or head-lamp (there is no electricity)

  • Yoga mat.

  • Simple comfortable clothes suitable for being outside in nature; walking shoes, rain coat, warm clothes for the evening (it can be chillier).

  • Any natural mosquito repellent (just in case, usually there are not many in the area).

  • Ear plugs.

  • Your personal journal. You might want to bring colour crayons too.

  • An object that represents the Feminine for you.

Please bring anything specific you may need in addition as we are in a remote location with no access to shops. The closest town is 45 minutes by car and there’s no public transportation.

Testimonials

“This retreat is a real gift, that I gave myself, to help me better understand and respect what my body as a woman goes through without me even paying attention to it.”
